Unveiled in June 2005, the Bionic car was developed by designers, engineers and biologists working hand in hand. Upping the repertoire of current 991-generation 911 models to 16 (so far) this is the new Porsche 911 Targa. The new Targa is inspired by the ’60s classic, as you’ll spot by its all-new roof arrangement (no glorified sunroof Targas any more). The contrast-coloured roof-hoop returns, as does the dome-shaped wraparound rear window.
If it's possible to have a favorite factory for enthusiasts, the Viper plant in Detroit would definitely rank among the top five. And preparations will soon begin to ready the plant for the relaunch of the SRT Viper in late 2012. That's right: The famous Dodge supercar will officially be badged the SRT Viper, a move that breaks from the car's 22-year heritage.
